Having rested and recovered sufficiently after his own arrival, Sasori had set out to explore the city---and, hopefully, to come across another Akatsuki member, his partner preferred. That was one of the reasons he was out in the evening, after all: Deidara would always be accompanied by explosions, and if there were any (as he hoped there would be) they would be most noticeable after dark. He had decided to wait before involving any others in his search, due to subtle ways in which he was used to working---admittedly, as the only information network established appeared to be over the computers (things he disliked) and uncomfortably open, he would have to start speaking to potential allies ( ... )

The subtle shuffle of approaching steps caused Kida to freeze and listen. It was clear the person wasn't trying to be stealthy; though far from noisy, the steps were too casual for that.

Makeshift spear in hand, she hopped off the edge of the car to face the new figure. She called out in multiple languages since she had little idea what country she was in. "Hello? Who is there?" she finally said in English.

Though still a ways away, she held up the crystal that hung around her neck like a lantern. As she approached, the immediate area was bathed in a blue light.

[OOC: Of course I don't. 'Tis why it's very open. ;) ]

"Akasuna no Sasori. Who are you?" The puppeteer stopped at the outer edge of the light, and watched the stranger step forward with only the usual neutrality (touched with mild curiousity)expressed across his features. "I'd assume another misplaced person." He had cause to, too; the handmade spear was informative, if unintimidating---he'd passed through more threatening circumstances, after all, and was not unarmed himself. (This was despite all appearaces; the puppets were safe in their scrolls, and his cable and blade still intact and in place.) It was an advantage, at least---one in addition to apparent age.

Kida cocked her head at the young man as she let her light fall across his features. “My name is Kidagakash.” She lowered her head in a cautious but respectful bow. “Another misplaced person? …I am far from my home, yes, but there are others here?” A look of curiosity tinged with hope softened her features. “…Do any of them have white hair in their youth like me?” Kida wondered if other hunters had been cut off from Atlantis in the cave-in. Thanks to her brief stint on the surface a mere 70 years ago, Kida had learned that white hair in younger people was virtually nonexistant.
