Content: Sephiroth discovers Yuffie in the museum and really isn't happy. Vincent provides damage control.

Museums were boring. In fact, they were more than that. They were deathly tedious, and smelled like old person, and Yuffie's short stay so far had done nothing to endear them to her. They also didn't have anything worth taking, so her only form of entertainment whilst cooped up was exploring the various galleries and offices whenever Vincent wasn't there to lurk and radiate disapproval at everything she did. Speaking of radiating disapproval, she thought, there was that twitch again. She absently scratched the back of her head to get rid of the feeling, and spun in a slow circle to catch the ex-Turk mid-approach.

"You know, sometimes you really suck at stalki-"

Except, that wasn't Vincent standing there with a look so sour it would kill lemons, and this room had no other exits. Pulling a blank in the 'clever ideas' department, Yuffie did what any panicking teenager would do: shut her mouth with a snap and stepped promptly out of his line of sight.

She was going to have to do better than that to get away from him. Sephiroth followed her, making an attempt to stay between her and the door.

It did not matter how good a ninja she was, Yuffie was not going to get away from him so easily.

It had been a long shot, sure, but she'd held onto a little bit of hope that he would just forget and keep doing whatever it was creepy soldiers did in their spare time. That hope withering away, she settled for pure bravado instead.

"Uh, hey," She attempted a jaunty wave as she came back into view, "Isn't this a coincidence, what with you, and me, and you aren't still mad about that one time, right? Because that would be pretty awkward."

Figured no one was ever around when she got into real trouble.

Sephiroth folded his arms, glaring down at the ninja girl. He didn't trust her one little bit and he would definitely not allow her to steal from him again. He had learned from that one experience with her.

And this time...there was no one around to step in. Unless... Sephiroth glanced around quickly, barely taking his eyes off Yuffie for more than a second. No Valentine, no Mother or anyone else...the museum might as well have been deserted if not for the pair of them.

"And if I am still angry?" His lips twisted into a slight smirk. "There's no one around to save you this time."

Oh, he wouldn't kill her. That would go against everything he had worked for since arriving. But scaring her a little might dissuade her from messing with him again.
