"Merry Christmas!" Botan laughed at Kuwabara's enthusiasm. It was so like him to be excited over something like this. Not, of course, that she wasn't.

No, in fact, it was quite the opposite. The cheery pilot of the River Styx had been looking forward to it as well. She had a cache of gifts as well, all together in a cheery Santa tote bag. She was dressed equally cheery in a holiday sweater.

Because of her "time out" over the last few weeks, Ashe hadn't really been thinking about the holiday everyone else seemed to be raving about. The crab bite had kept her occupied enough, and she hadn't seen much of her roommates.

Consequently, she wasn't exactly prepared with gifts.

Having been healed of the ailments caused by the bite, Ashe had taken it upon herself to use her health and cook a few dishes up. She'd learned several Dalmascan recipes during her time in the Resistance, and could only hope she did them justice, and that everyone would like them.

Coming out of her apartment, she could see it didn't matter if she'd cooked snow for everyone. Spirits were up, morale was up, and she knew that even a burnt platter of rice could change that.

Sado likewise hadn't really been able to do much in holiday shopping, what with spending almost every waking moment scouring the city for Orihime with a crab bite. It had taken a lot out of him, and he was still very worried, and felt a bit guilty enjoying the holidays with his friend still missing.

Yet, he didn't want to bring the others down, and so he had joined them, strumming idly on his guitar in the corner. He'd have to pick something up for everyone later, and also track down Ichigo and make sure he didn't spend the holiday alone.

Looking up, a small smile tugged at his lips as Kuwabara came in the room. The other boy had proven to be an honorable and kind man, and had earned Sado's respect.

Celes was also a little behind on the present thing. She didn't really know much about this holiday, nor had she been able to do much about it with a crab bite, nor was she entirely sure what to get them. And that didn't cover the fact that she was still not used to this giving thing. She was more used to it than she had been and wanted to do what she could for those who lived in the same complex with her, but still.. That didn't make it any easier to show her appreciation.

The ex-general heard the cries from Botan and Kuwabara and blinked a little, stepping out of her apartment and glancing around at the others. Something tugged on her heart and she wished she knew what to get everyone. She supposed she'd just have to make a mental list and go out later.

"...Merry Christmas," she murmured, offering the smallest of smiles to everyone she could see.
