Ginger had been a good girl. She hadn't eaten anything with a mind to protest, or anyone, because people had asked and so it had been polite to do as they had requested. For a time, anyway. She could always change. The world and this place, this New York, was always changing, so it made sense, at least to Ginger, that the people could as well.

For a while, she'd been a good person. Minded her own business. Done nothing to attract attention, done nothing that ended in a bloody way. For a while, she'd been good.

It didn't change the fact that she was a bad person prone to doing very bad things.

But she could be good for a while. Odd and a few others had requested it, and Ginger rather liked Odd.

So when the man she didn't know was gaping at the broken buildings like an idiot, she didn't sneer at him overly much. She asked, "Can I help you?" like a nice, normal person was supposed to ( ... )

With the weather better, Pika didn't feel the need to wear as much clothing as that Giselle woman made for him. So he only had a red tunic and his cloak on. He also decided that now would be a good time to play outside. However he did NOT wish to play in the streets, the streets felt cold and dead. Leafless trees would be the closest to life he'd get. So he set up his map on his PDA and was off for a rather long trip down to the bottom of the island, it was where he could find the largest park that Sora and Riku told him was safe and monster minimal.

So he had finally gotten to the park area, where he saw two humans. He figured he'd pay them some mind, one looked confused (and totally out of his element). The other looked... odd. Even by his standard that all humans here were just a bit weird. So the little rodent watched patiently from a short distance away to see if he could be of assistance. If not, he would continue his plan to play in the park. As this city was very cold and he wanted some nature in his life.

Brisco startled a little bit when he heard a voice. The girl looked a little odd, but then again, he had no idea what year it even was, so that was probably to be expected. He took his hat off politely and approached.

"Oh, howdy ma'am," he said. "Name's Brisco. Brisco County Jr. This is gonna sound a little crazy, but ah... What year is this?" he asked, a little sheepish. It was an embarrassing question to have to ask. Hopefully, she wouldn't think he was entirely off his rocker.

Ginger smelled something like a rat and smiled faintly to herself. Snack for later. Goody.

"It's 2008, far as I know," she said. The man looked like many things, none of them terms that could be deemed polite, and talked like a...cowboy. Well. There had been stranger things, she supposed. "You're new here?"
