Okay, so maybe she just wanted an excuse to warm up a bit. The cold did start getting to her, but she wasn't about to let anyone know about that. Book burning was a old past time of sorts anyway, so it was the perfect cover up story.

She grabbed as many books as she could hold and made her way to the rooftop, trying to make sure no one spotted her on her way up. Last thing she wanted was other people in the hotel ruining this.

It seemed he'd beaten Etna to the roof, so the Overlord dropped the huge stack of books down on the nearest table that wasn't covered in snow and glanced around wondering how they could best do this without putting their current home at risk.

There weren't any prinnies here, after all, to repair the hotel if their book burning got out of hand. Sure, they could just move if something happened to the place, but that seemed like more trouble than it was worth.

Ah well, whatever. The roof seemed to be a good choice being outside, lots of brick and a good heap of snow. Good a place as any for a fire.

Plopping down on his growingly favorite spot on top of the brick wall, he waited for Etna to get up here.

Etna soon made it to the roof with her very large stack of books. She quickly looked around to see if Laharl was around and noticed the table with a stack of books already there, with Prince in view as well.

"Hey Prince~! And here I was hoping I'd beat you up here ♥" Etna dropped her stack right next to Laharl's stack of books and looked around the roof to see where they could put their books in to start the fire.

Laharl looked up as he heard someone else arrive on the roof, and relaxed when he saw the familiar demon girl. Ah, there was Etna. Her apparent future change of clothing still threw him off a little, but it wasn't THAT much a change though, beyond possibly showing even more skin, geez. It was just another of those future things that made him wonder.

He shrugged at her comment. "I am a few floors higher than you, you know," he noted, before he hopped down off his perch, folding his arms to his chest in his usual fashion.
