After some time, he noticed a familiar figure in the distance, walking toward her. "Let's hope this one doesn't end up interrupted, shall we?" Balthier asked, the corner of his mouth upturning into the same smirk as always.

She sincerely hoped it would be a quiet excursion. There was little need for new wounds on top of those she already had, and she wasn't quite sure how well she would hold up in a battle besides. At least the cold air had seemed to numb the dull ache of the bite on her stomach, even if the rest of her body disagreed with the chill.
Her head nestled a little further into her coat to escape the cold, and she all but danced in place to keep herself warm while they waited for Larsa.

Anything that Cid may have been about to say, for conversational purposes, had died quickly once they made that final turn. A look at Larsa' "companions" (and perhaps, if Cid had thought about it, the pair would have been the likeliest for the meet-up) and he drew to a halt, leaning to one side and folding his arms across his chest. "Larsa," he said with an accusing, annoyed, and disdainful tone.
The boy would have to do a lot of apologizing, Cid thought, as he glowered at Ffamran. Blast. Well, he had gotten the boy there safely. It was time to go.

Needless to say, she was unsure of exactly how to appropriately react to this situation. How awkward.
Still, she couldn't stand there gaping, and queenly manor took precedence over past meetings. "Good day, Larsa," she said slowly, before offering a small smile and a nod to Cid. "Good day, Doctor."

Now for the long walk back... (serves him right for being indecisive, perhaps he will settle for something a bit closer by for a few days). However, it was his surprise to see the young lord out on the streets that morning as well. Cid was not always a rude man, and so he approached the other, glancing around the area. "Wandering about the streets alone?" He tsked. "A Solidor or not, my young lord, it doesn't bode well for you."

"It is good to see you again. If you are going the same direction, would you care to accompany me? It is not far from here."
It might give them a chance to catch up after all.

He waved a hand up showing for Larsa to take the lead, and Cid would follow alongside.
