Characters: Sado and Auron
Content: Two of Manhattan's most stoic residents must rescue some trapped citizens of Manhattan from a swarm of crabs.
Location: 10th Ave
Time: Late in the week, early in the evening
Warnings: Blood, violence, killing crabs, sheer awesome.

Auron had attempted to keep off the streets for as long as he could since the rise in the number of crabs in the streets, but he could only stay inside for so long. The guardian wasn't looking for a long walk, just enough to sate his wanderlust.

It was near the middle of this walk that he heard the skittering of claws on concrete and Auron immediately whipped around, bringing his sword around to cut into a charging crab. Another instance of the sound and with another strike, a second crab fell lifeless.

Auron looked around the street for a sign of any more of the creatures, stopping as he saw a blur of motion in the distance. A flash of light, and the guardian immediately rushed toward the battle, cleaving one of the attacking crabs in two.

A boy, a wall, a family, and a sea of crabs. Hn. This could be difficult.

"Need a hand?"

The sound of another man's voice drew Sado's attention, and he looked up from smashing one of the creatures to see a older man in distinctive sunglasses wielding a sword against the mass of crabs. Lip twitching in a ghost of a smile, Sado nodded and answered, "Yes."

If it had just been him he might have tried to warn the man off, but with others lives in the balance Sado had to admit he'd need all the help he could get. It looked like once again he'd be trusting his back to another.

Twirling the hammer over his head for a second Sado swung it down and knocked back a line of crabs, hoping to help clear a path for the man to get over to him. It was likely their best chance was to fight together.

Auron took the opening, carving the a path through the remaining crabs to get to the center of the fight. He dropped into a more defensive stance, taking down any attackers who took that moment to strike.

The guardian turned his attention to the young man during a lull in the attack. "Do you have a plan?" Auron asked.

Sado thought quickly and said, "I'll clear a path, you get them to the nearest building."
