The days were growing shorter and colder, to the point where it wouldn't be all that much fun to tromp around outside anymore...at least not until they got a bit of snow. Giselle was busy making lots of scarves and hats, so Wolf decided to take a little wander around the city. Maybe the cold would start to drive the crabs further underground.

As they often did, his wanderings took him to areas with more park, including the park that had gotten a bit trashed in the huge attack. There, he happened to spot some kid wandering along and singing to himself...but it was the kid's scent that got his attention. He could recognize that anywhere...it was another wolf! Wolf darted a little bit closer, curious to see a another lupine. He hoped it was an actual wolf and not one of those 'werewolves'...the one he'd spoken with before had been terribly grouchy.

"Ahh...hellooooo there!"

Rip Van Winkle smiled. She smelled the scent of wolf far before she heard the singing. Wolves were never a problem to her. In fact, she had thought quite highly of the Captain, and he was a werewolf.

The vampire slinked quietly towards the source of the sound and odor. She answered with a few bars of her own tune.

"Heute wollen wir ein Liedlein singen,
Trinken wollen wir den kühlen Wein..."

She stepped out into the open, and assessed the situation. One seemed to be a teenager, the other a man. "Guten abend, gentlemen."

Akira had been pretty lost in himself, grooving to the tunes as he sang about little old ladies and pina coladas, and werewolves. So, when Wolf approached, Akira actually didn’t notice him until he spoke. The youth spun on his heel, and as soon as he was facing the gentleman who’d spoken, he assumed a relaxed, but standing posture, his hands folded behind his head ( ... )

It seemed most everyone here was in a singing mood, although Wolf usually wasn't one for singing. Too bad Giselle wasn't here...although maybe not too bad; he wasn't quite sure how he felt about the other girl that had just appeared. She smelled heavily of blood. And he couldn't quite understand the language she was speaking, although it sounded like German. He was pretty sure he recognized "guten abend."

At least the kid seemed nice enough...if he was a werewolf, then maybe he wasn't as mean-spirited as that girl. He wondered if he should ask the kid about being a "real" wolf or a werewolf...but it seemed a little rude to jump to conclusions without an introduction first. "Oooh, you can call me Wolf!" he said with a smile and quick scratch at his ear. "Nice night for a walk, isn't it?"
