It had been a mistake! But Apollo wasn't going to argue the point anymore and was instead devising ways to try and protect Trucy from getting hurt. He figured that since Mr. Wright wasn't the one he knew, Apollo himself was probably the best defense that Trucy had.

Right then, he really wished he could have stopped himself from trying to talk to Dahlia Hawthorne at all. But what was done was done, and he had to try and somehow account for the consequences there.

It took a little bit longer than he'd hoped - he didn't know Apollo's habits like he knew Maya's or Edgeworth's - but he hadn't planned on doing anything else before talking to him. That, and the shelter wasn't that big. With some persistence, he caught something recognizable in the corner of his eye. A weird combination of irritation and relief flooded through him, and he forced it back down.

"Apollo!"

Apollo looked up when he heard his name being called-- and then immediately looked back down. Uh-oh. Mr. Wright wasn't happy, Apollo knew that much. And he definitely didn't want to deal with the angry father, adoptive or not.

Especially not when he was still kicking himself mentally!

He couldn't ignore Wright anymore and looked up with an awkward, embarrassed laugh. "M-mr. Wright!"

He had to stop himself from outright running over there - Apollo hadn't just put himself in danger, the whole thing had come out on Trucy's journal; that meant crosshairs were on him, Maya, Apollo, Armando, and her.... This list was getting way too long to be comfortable.

He should have taken a second to compose himself; he decided he didn't have the time. "Tell me what happened."
