Orlando had been doing a fair bit of wandering lately. For the most part, it was because he was bored, and the threat of a potential encounter with crab parasites grew less and less threatening with every crab he escaped. If anything, Orlando was looking for danger - it kept him on his toes, after all.

Apart from that ... well, he knew about the recent appearances of mysteriously fresh food - if that was possible, then who was to say he might not run across a -

... a mouse.

The marmalade cat stopped, keeping a slightly wary distance from the distinctly mouselike figure ahead of him. Well. He certainly hadn't been expecting this ...

King Mickey continued on his way, walking slowly to memorize his surroundings a little better.

...Still no crabs. But he kept looking, and instead he saw... a cat? He smiled and walked over to the creature.

"Hiya!" he greeted brightly. "Say, you wouldn't happen to know where I could find some of those crabs, would ya?"

Orlando inwardly tutted at himself for reacting so surprisedly to someone else. This island was full of strange things; he knew what it was like to be treated as an oddity, and it certainly wasn't very nice. Drawing up the rest of his composure, he looked brightly at Mickey - but just ended up being thrown off again by the question he asked.

"Why!" Orlando exclaimed, although he seemed more amused than totally startled, "Whatever are you looking for them for? I dare say they've made quick work of more curious fellows than you and I!"

He frowned. They did sound like the Heartless, to an extent. He might have to find this world's keyhole, make sure it's sealed...

"I just wanna learn more about 'em," he replied. It wasn't a lie, but perhaps not the whole truth, either.
