Spoiling for a fight

At the end of each new Dr Who episode, I have to lunge for the off button, to avoid seeing the spoilers for next week's episode, which the BBC has seen fit to conveniently provide for everyone ( Read more... )

All the programs they show here do that now, whether US or UK. I either delete the recording or FF through if I want to see the credits, even though they squash them into half the screen to show what's coming up next and talk over the music. Bastards.

It's not so much that they talk over the closer, although that's incredibly irritating, it's that for some reason, the BBC has seen fit not only to give spoilers for the next episode, but to quite often show 'the big reveal' in the promos. Why would I want to know what the big surprise is before I watch the episode?

Exactly. This is why I FF over them. I hate spoilers.
