“Daddy.” The word rolls off his tongue smoothly. He tries it out again. “Daddy.”
He peers at himself in the glass, razor halted mid-air. “Father. Pop. Dad. Daddy.”
It had been in the back of his mind that someday... but an unexpected travel itinerary had killed his perfectionist visions of middle age. There would be no sprawling house in the suburbs, no trips to parent-teacher meetings, no trips to DisneyWorld, no family sedan in the drive.
Are there production model, family spaceships? And how many light years do they get to the gallon?
So, he isn't technically the father of the child. It's still his DNA right?
