iPod minis are great for reading fic when it's dark and you're a vehicular passenger LOL! Awesome honey - but HOW do you do that?! O.o *wonders*

I can read fic and ogle art without fear of disapproving cafe staff/patrons! LOL to that one as well xP

I'm sorry it wasn't your best trip, but I'm glad it had some good parts in it as well ^_^

*hugs*

There's a little application you can download. I can't find the link offhand but I could look it up for you later if you like. I don't think it's been updated in quite a while and it has at least one bug - every 10 'chapters' you have to back out to the main story menu because the link to go forward disappears. It can be a bit fiddly to set up, but I've found it great for travelling.

I'm totally understanding the 'I can read fic and ogle art without fear of disapproving cafe staff/patrons!'

I'm back at college with no internet in my room so I have to use it in the common room or the college library - not so great for checking my lj *pouts*

Glad that you had a good time in Scotland - I think Edinburgh is pretty all the time - autumnal colours aren't necessarily a must!

Oh what a pain! You must have a really mad scramble to catch up when you do have non-college access.

I'm still thinking about buying an iPod touch for exactly this purpose. *g*

Worth the cost for that alone I say!

I actually have a nano, not a mini, but I think most people knew what I meant. Screen is very small on those, so with a touch you'll at least have readable screen size.
