Lol! And inspired by your review. I'm glad you liked it. I wanted to try to explain WHY he knew what to do. I didn't have time to go into it during the chapter in quite enough detail. It would have totally interrupted the flow of the story.

And yet, after I wrote back to you, this little side-story was all I could think about, and I had to get it written before I could go back to working on the sequel. :)

And I also really like that you put the problem Leah had with Jake getting involved with Bella right out there.

Leah doesn't like Jake being involved with Bella because he might imprint.

I feel really stupid that I hadn't exactly gotten that in those words, but thanks for pointing it out.

I think that is the root of her problem with the situation, and why she is so cruel to Jacob. But I also think that she is jealous of Bella because Jake HASN'T imprinted. As a result, she despises them both - Jake for putting Bella's heart in danger, and Bella from turning away from Jake before he actually imprints. To me, that explains her cruelty. It isn't that she's a bad person at all.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. It was a nice little side-project for me when I should have been working on the sequel to the main story, but I figured I'd put it up and see if anyone was interested.

PS. Would you be so kind as to explain your userpic? I don't get it....

Stephenie Meyer, in an interview, said that 99.5% of all fans of her books were Edward fans.

And that there was a tiny .5% that were loyal to Jacob. To the death!

But Jake's reaction is priceless, and Embry was sooo cute, in all his embarrassment.
