As long as he continues to be flawless, I think I will never get over him. I could listen to him read the menu from the chinese restaurant down the street and it would sound gorgeous, spelling errors and all.

Indeed, his voice is absolutely lovely.

speaking of Engrish, here's a gem I found at a festival…would love to hear him read it hahahaa. http://i.imgur.com/ZGRJL.jpg Explodes the fighting cock platoon. :') (btw it's supposed to say fried chicken cutlet)

Tom Hiddleston's single handed revival of great literature. Shakespeare and poetry.

His voice is velvet and wrong right in so many ways. Was going to get a book for my summer holiday pool side read - I think it will have to be an audio book :)

Have you listened to him narrating "The Red Necklace"? OMG~ 6 hours of awesomeness! Accents, voices, impressions, and a wide arrange of emotions. I had to listen to it in one sitting!

I've heard extracts but trying not to listen too much because I may buy that one to take with me.

Make sure you buy the right copy. There have been a lot of confusion over the audio book conundrum because there are two versions.

Thank you SOOOOOOO much for sharing this!! I agree, his voice is DEFINITELY my ruin, lol. He's so good at bringing whatever he's reading to life (like in "The Red Necklace, which I'm enjoying very much so far!). I could listen to him read all day. :)

I love the way he says "roarer" too. I think my fave part was, "I'll love you, dear, I'll love you, till China and Africa meet..."

That's my favorite line, too! In fact this is my favorite thing that I've ever heard him read.

I was not prepared.

I'll have to listen to this repeatedly to make up for it.

That poem is fantastic! I love it, and The Duck and the Kangaroo one he does with Helena Bonham Carter. Anything the man reads sounds like velvet, so smooth. He could read the Entire Encyclopedia Britannica and I would be a happy girl.
