ok listen kiddies, i am knitting scarves to raise my 300 money for nicaragua ( i got on the april trip :)!!! ). for all those who dont know, 300 money is not raised for my plain fare ect. it's raised for the people of nicaragua. not one cent of that money goes to the cost of my trip ( Read more... )

it depends on the yanr, some yarns are more than one color, ya know? i can also make then stripped with two diff colors too.

hmm yeah...well my choice of colors are black gray and white so if there just happens to be one kind of yarn that are all 3 colors..well that works out nicely!! lol

sorry i typed nicaragua in interest and yours was one of the first that popped up. I just want to say that what your doing is really fucking thoughtful. I just got back from a 2 week trip there to visit family and I wish I had came prepared to give stuff away. Hopefully I return in May and will donate everything I can to em.

oh thanks! i am part of a club at my highschool called students for 60,000 and it's a club that raises a shitload of money for humanitarian aid cuases. we take two trips down to nicaragua each year, and bring over 10,000 dollars (all donations) just to rebuild houses and schools and to fund some of our other projects down there. while we are down there we build houses, dig latrines, teach schools, and hand out clothing donations. last year i didnt donate as much as i could have but this year i am going to raise more money to bring down, donate more clothing, and bring down some toys for the children. i think that its great that you are going back and donating things! good luck with that!

wow i must say thats pretty fucking nice, youre a real good person and i dont even know ya. Im glad you take part in something that thoughtful. I hope the man upstairs rewards you as well for taking part in something like that. Thanks!
