Trying not to be offended that my sister doesn't trust me or my car to drive my niece anywhere.

Ugh, not babysitting again, that is the lamest of the lame.

It's not some huge ass mom van/suv. nothing is wrong with it. just not "safe." and thank you, I think I am a fine driver.

Huh. That's irrational. Did she make sure to take advanced driving/skid pad training to make sure she's the safest driver she can possibly be? Did she research and compare vehicle safety? Does she always take a bus if the only other option is to have the kid in an actual car as opposed to a truck? Does everyone she know own a van or truck? Or, god forbid, did she pull this idea out of her ass.

Umm, probably.. to those questions. They had one of those big SUV thingies.. forget what it was called, almost looked like a truck, but they traded it for something safer and easier to get carseats in and out of. I don't think she would ever take a bus, haha. If she had to, she wouldn't go. She said the only car my niece has ever been in was her car. I don't get my sister. but whatever.
