First post and first coord!

Hey everybody!
I'm officially a lolita as of yesterday! This is my first coord ever. I went for an oldschool classic look =^•^=

( The skirt, blouse and petti are handmade. Everything else is offbrand.  )

Ugh, sorry to have to break it to you, but your coord is definitely not lolita. It may still be considered as casual kei or whatever it's called, but lolita? Nay.

As for concrit: more bows, more ruffles, more laces, proper hairdo and more hair accessories / headwears, over the knee socks (not those tight legging pants), lolita shoes. And how about putting your photos under LJ cut?

Hey! It's not bad for a first try!
But as the other person pointed out, it's not lolita yet!
But you're getting there!
I see your clothes seem to be handmade?
try to make the skirt larger! Lolita skirts have looooots of fabric so they make that nice cupcake shape when you put a petticoat underneath! Maybe a bit longer too, because from that angle it looks pretty short!

Anyway, don't stop! Lolita is not that easy to achieve but you'll get it eventually!

I am aware of the fabric issue... It was the first time I sewed anything like that, so I'd didn't really know how much fabric I needed... Oh well, it's by making mistakes that we learn, right?
