Wow, these all look amazing! I especially like the sweet look and the cream and black one after it. ^^ The time and effort you put into each coord shows. <3
Ehhhhh I still think wa lolita is pretty costumey/ ita/ whatevs, but I do actually really love that 4th one! It's cute, simple, elegant! I do like the one with the puppet circus peeping out, but I feel the gingham print or whatever it is on top of it really takes away from the skirt.
I think you are correct though, quality items really do make or break an outfit. While I don't like all the outfits here, it is clear that they are all beautiful and of quality, so I think it may be possible to make more amazing outfits C:
I think that to a point wa-lolita is always bound to look a bit, eh, costume-y. It's just a style that doesn't fall into anything you'd think to see anyone wearing as "normal wear", so I totally see your point there. And yeah, that blue plaid is quite strong - maybe if I tried a kimono with a simpler print or no print at all with it? Hmm...
Funnily enough, in this occasion quality doesn't even equal expensive. I'm always sad to see wa-lolita done haphazardly because small, inexpensive changes could make all the difference. Like obi-ita - it costs less than 10$ and it instantly makes almost any obi look perfect.
these are so beautiful!!!! i would love to have a nice wa-lolita collection like this they are simply beautiful! the first one is my fav! and the last obi is so beautiful!!!!! <3 <3 <3 thank you for sharing!!!! it has inspired me to work on a wa-lolita collection too! :D
I'd love to see more wa-loli too, so if you feel at all up to it do give it a try! I agree about that last obi - it was my bday present and I love it to pieces! ^^ Thank you for the comment!
I'm glad you liked it! Wa-aristo turned out to be the easiest one of these coords here and I'd say it would be easily do-able. Personally I'd love to see more coords done in the style. ^^
