Ooh! They are both so pretty *w* I haven't worn Lolita much this summer either, for similar reasons. I don't have anything lightweight >.<
That fabric looks so luxurious! What sort of material was it, and was it hard to work with? What you made looks so lovely on you!
Your Lion King coord is adorable! That is on my list of favorite shows (I'm a bit of a theatre geek), and I love that your shoes reflect the costuming of the show in a way.
This was my first time seeing the musical and I really enjoyed myself :D Some of the vocals...okay actually pretty much all of them, blew me away.
Thank you, though! The first dress was done with a kind of sari fabric. It wasn't too terribly hard to work with, except for the enormous amount of fraying e_e;
Both those outfits are ADORABLE, but that first one is especially wooow. I wish you did commissions because that dress is AMAZING. I love everything Indian, so that's like a combination of awesome!
I'm not a professional seamstress, so I don't really feel confident enough to take commissions. Honestly, a lot of pieces I made for myself end up being a bit bigger than I planned ^^;
