Looks like you guys had a rad time--y'all certainly looked awesome doing it. Gah. I lust after the Atelier Pierrot, especially.

If I ever end up there I will probably look so banal because I don't want to lug around a giant suitcase.
Seriously you look fabulous in every single photo!
And you met Louie, how genius is that! Lucky you! (I love Rose Noire).
I would break my neck in heels like yours, I can't even stand up in those.

I'd never heard of Rose Noire before Classic Alamode, but I really enjoyed their music and overall performance! The genre is so cool, too-- like opera and rock music hooked up one night at a crazy party in Versailles. ;)

I've got both their cds and as long as Louie lays off the really high notes I love it :D
And I'm generally not even into that kind of stuff (I generally listen to things like Abney Park, Buck-Tick, Project Pitchfork, J and Spiritual Front) so yeah :)
I like to travel light (in other words: everything MUST go in my doctor's bag and my wildly unstylish camping backpack) so I will probably go onto the plane wearing my petti and what not just to save place in my bag for skirts and tops etc haha :)
And then stand there in Tokyo looking wildly embarassed that I've not tried harder.

Yeah, same here! I don't really even dabble in the more alternative genres (I prefer rock and electronica like IAMX, Massive Attack, or Nine Inch Nails), and I generally HATE j-rock and most Japanese music, but Rose Noire was something else! You're right about the high notes, though- they made me clench my jaw a little. :P
A camping backpack would be a great idea! Camille wore lolita stuff on the plane both ways, and had no problems with it- and since petticoats are the most space-consuming item IN THE WORLD, I definitely think that'd be smart. Just bust outta the terminal snapping your fingers and walking like Tyra and nobody'll give you lip. ;)

Did you pretty much go there just to shop, eat and purikura? Forgive me if this is too personal but I am very curious about how much ($) you dropped during that whole trip.

I understand your reservations about disclosing how much you spent. I was just hoping to get an idea of what to expect/strive to.

That's totally understandable! If you'd like, I can send you a few details through a PM. :)
