I want this community to live D: I've been checking for any new claims for the past few days and I was like, whoa, nobody wants to participate anymore! DD: I think daily_icon needs more pimpage in other places.

Actually, if you look above where it says ANIMANGA, there's a new "LAST UPDATED ON: M/D/Y". XDD; I've been mod-ninja, updating at all hours of the day and night, lulz. XDDDDv

XD; I tend to try to post my Friday post on the morning of Saturday because I'm afraid of it still being Thursday or something in the Friday Mornings lol *ish lame* I guess I'll post earlier then?

By the time I've updated on Fridays, it's already the end of the day. But I really wouldn't worry about running over into other days, so long as you have it somewhere clearly stated that today's theme is friday's. :]

I think our biggest adversary here is the claims list which is why I've been meaning to purge it. So many claims have already been made for such a wide variety of fandoms/characters, that newcomers may feel discouraged.

After the list has been purged, we can look into really pimping the community out again? By then we'll have a very teeny list of claims (if my hunches are correct, haha) and thus more available options for people! ♥

Ah~ I'll keep that in mind then! :D (If Thursday/Saturday isn't taken, would you mind if I took them as well? So it'd be two consistant days and I don't have to worry about running over one?)

and I think I know what you mean about the claims list, though I'm a bit guessing that despite the large claims list, there's only a few actual participants, so some of the people who newly sign up might think it's ok to wait until there's a theme they actually like and then forget their claim entirely because there isn't an actual deadline? Maybe we should have a rule for a deadline thingy like iconfiend100 where they should update for their first icon after the claim withing xx month and then 1+ icon every other month after that? ^^; *hopes she explain right*

But yes, after the purge, I'll definitely start pimping the community again for sure~! ♥

Thursday is ariake's with either myself or kemuca covering. Saturday is actually review's day, but she's usually swamped with her other communities so she pops in whenever she can... XD;

If you'd like, you could help cover Saturday until review steps in again fully.

It's actually in the FAQ that you can take your time, as long as it hasn't been three months since your last post. I didn't think to add it to the rules though because for awhile we seemed to be on track with everyone. XDDD;; I'll have to go and edit that in now though. D:

I'd like to keep my claim. I know it's been a while since I've done any icons for this comm, I apologize. It hasn't been easy to come up with anything for John Winchester, actually, I hadn't realized how very little screencaps there was of him. I'm going to try harder, though. Like I said, I'd like to keep both of my claims, Gilmore Girls and John.

I'm almost finish with the my claims, but I have an request/question. When the person puts the new theme and uses words that other people don't normally use in everyday. Meaning me. -_- Can the person put the meaning under the theme so I understand what it means. so I can make the icon the matches the theme.

I'm usually very good about putting the meaning of phrases/words not used everyday, or those that may convey multiple meanings.

If no definition/meaning has been provided, feel free to continue to do as you have been and ask questions. Or if you don't want to wait for a response, do as I do and go to dictionary.com and choose your favorite definition. ;]

There was a point when I couldn't upload my claim for a while because of computer troubles, but now I've been updating at least a few times a week, so I'll keep my claim. :] But I also agree that this comm needs more pimping.. it's such a fun concept, but hardly anyone posts! I'd love to see some new members and new icons. ^^ ♥

There have actually been a couple of new members every other day! D: I really think we just need to purge the claims list, pimp a little more, and voila. :D More posters!

Ahh. D: I guess people are intimidated by the large claims list? I've seen claims for some animes I'd really love to see icons for, but that haven't been updated in a while. ;_; And yes, more pimping please! ♥ I'd help, but I'm not sure where I'd pimp this community.

Also, if you need anymore people to post themes on certain days, (I'm not sure if you don't or not, so feel free to ignore this XD) I might volunteer. XD Just because the idea of picking themes sounds fun. ^^; *is a dork*

I'm looking forward to all of the submissions though, because it also appears many individuals would like to keep their claims! I think we started flying under the radar of people's interests because of the inconsistent theme posting.

Hopefully, we'll stay on track and on time for however long the community continues to live! :DD

That's my problem as well, not knowing where to pimp. XDD;;
