It makes complete and total sense. Most people only care about the things that affect their own lives closely. They don't think of anything bigger until something huge happens and they suddenly give a fuck. I don't understand the human race. We're supposed to be the most evolved creatures, but I really doubt this fact. Discovering technology and all of it's branches isn't really evolution to me. I mean, it's nice yes but eugh.
