It's not Satou if he's not sadistic and Yoshida loves to be bullied. Yoshida would think Satou is ignoring him again if Satou is being nice to him.
I think Satou is not mean to Yoshida, he just loves teasing him and who wouldn't love to tease Yoshida? Really.

But it's also interesting as part of the larger story of Satou's twisted character, and why Yoshi puts up with it. And it's nice that Yoshida seems to be standing up for himself more.... maybe....

Without it, Satou would just be another bishounen with a plastic personality. Also, it gives more depth to Yoshida liking him because he can get over the bad traits of Satou's personality~ :D It shows he likes him for way more than just his looks. He'd have to, to be able to put up with that. ;~; Also, it makes me LOL quite regularly.

Chilli and chocolate go wonderfully together - there's a yummy chilli dish called mole poblano which is a good example. There's an amazing chocolatiere in my city which sells yummy chilli chocolates, too.

It's GOOD. I haven't had it with chicken like in the picture there, but I make it with kidney beans and beef mince.
