[ It's a day or so after she went to Ceri and Idris' gym that she shows up on the ship. Granted, she's there nearly every day as it is, but for a little while, she was off doing something she didn't want Ace to see just yet. That being the training of the newly captured Pokemon she had in the little red and white ball in her hands.

Okay, so a day wasn't really 'training', but she had to make sure it would listen to her and not try and jump on Ace's face or something. Luckily, she had picked a good, loyal one out. ]

[Ace is hanging out in a hammock on the ship but he swings out of it, boots making a thump as he gets out of it and makes his way up to the deck, tipping his hat as he does so.]

Ah...did I wake you up? I'm sorry. [ She still grinning though, so she's obviously not that sorry, ] I brought something for you. [ And thus she holds out the Pokeball like he's suppose to know what to do with it. ]

I did a little work on the ship [he indicates over to the railing where some of the varnish shines far brighter, still wet] so I didn't have much else to do.

[Dutifully he takes the item from her - he thinks that Dawn showed him one when she met him at the beach to pick up some rings - but he has no idea what to do with it.
