( He shouldn't be here; he senses it, but he can never stop returning to it night after night. )

Awww. I'm a sucker for a good Vader-pining-for-what-once-was-and-what-could-have-been fic. You did a nice job of detailing his fruitless search for her and his guilt and grief.
