It had been a few days since they'd gone out to eat after work, and ended up making out in the backseat of his truck. True to his word he didn't breathe a word of it to anyone. After a few general Christmas related activities she came back, showered and gotten ready for dinner. It took way too long to figure out what to wear, and at that moment, as she dug through her closet she hated being a girl. Finally she decided on a simple black dress and red shrug. She was wondering if it was too much when she heard a knock on the door.
Frowning to herself she walked to the door and opened it with a smile. "Hey, Greg. Come on in."

"You look nice Riley."
He had noticed how she was at work, keeping her head down and he had to wonder if she regretted ever kissing him. He pushed it from his mind then, whatever was going to happen between them would happen.

"You look nice too, Greg. Can I get you anything?" Moving away from the door, she walked back toward her bedroom, scooting up a pair of running shoes as she did so.
The apartment was clean, organized, bare wood floors, clean white walls that had been recently washed. There were very few personal effects or pictures up, just clean, the only color coming from her couch in the living room and bed covers on her four poster bed.
