I hate Valentine's Day. WITH A BLINDING PASSION. And, question, why on Earth did my 12th grade multicultural literature class have a party? And how the hell did we end up with enough food to feed a class twice the size of ours

I love your reactionsquee to tiny bits, of course.
YES, "dabble." It must mean what you say it does. If this season passes without another Jack/Ianto kiss scene I shall weep many tears.
That Mayfly... reminded me of the Eighth Doctor Adventure "Eater of Wasps," actually. Then I got lots of lovely memories of Fitz. Then it was so huge and gross and Owen got shot dead.
:(
(Hahaha, my phone is named "Turlough" too. 'Cos it's red.)
I just copypasted all my Jack/Ianto stuff into a word document. At some point, maybe at the end of the series, I'll do a huge long meta. Or maybe I'll do that after next episode. I don't know. I'm so bloody tired.
It will not pass without another Jack/Ianto kiss scene. I has spoilers for episode 11 to prove it! (Though whether or not those are trufax remains to be seen...)
Yay for Jack/Ianto. I don't know what spoilers to believe anymore.... I thought for sure the Weevil King thing was bull, but then Owen got dead so who knows?
It only just hit me when reading your review "I'm here to complete your post-mortem." And Owen looks so insulted! If those were her exact words, could there have been any more foreshadowing?
And with all the alien tech Torchwood have, you'd think that somewhere they'd have found a bullet proof vest?
Regarding your comments on 'dabble', to me it seemed like Ianto was struggling to find a single word that could describe his relationship with Jack, and couldn't really think of anything else appropriate. He probably didn't want to have to start analyzing it in front of Martha.
I also thought his reaction to Martha's comment about the hat was a sort of a 'Jack Harkness is a dead man for blabbing about us!!!' :-)
Oooh, foreshadowing! Yeah, those were her exact words, far as I could tell. I haven't got subtitles on this thing. I'm kind of annoyed at myself for not noticing that, because I have this tendency to analyze everything, but I claim it's cos I'm perpetually cold, tired, and my head is always foggy.

I swear, I've watched this scene over and over and over... not because it's awesome (which it is), but because it's such an interesting scene from a characterisation point of view
