He has no idea what he’s doing. He never does. But this…
To go so far as to seduce himself-or his past self, at least-into seducing him… He doesn’t know what could possibly have possessed him to do this.
Still, the other isn’t complaining. And why would he?
He’s not the one face-down on a bed that reeks of painful memories. He’s not the one broken by grief. He’s not the one whose only chance to fix himself is to sleep with a past incarnation.
Because as much as he hates to admit it, as much as he wants to convince himself this is all just absence of good judgment, he knows. He knows he meant to put himself here, in this position, the man he was five lifetimes ago on top of him.
Because it’s the only thing that can put the pieces back together.
