Neat. For some reason I find traffic flow issues fascinating. I also like seeing theory hit reality. Everyone thinks, "just evacuate" but when the numbers show up suddenly it becomes a lot more difficult.
And you forgot to include buses, a much more efficient people mover!
(I realize they're probably not numerically significant, I just like causing trouble)

I thought about them. But aside from not knowing how many buses were on hand, I assumed people would prefer to evacuate in their cars if they possibly could. More room to bring stuff with them, not to mention that they get to keep the cars themselves. And the traffic's the same no matter what you're riding in.
