In the meanwhile...

Since I'm putting off movie-watching 'til later, I should make some headway into my game collection. I spent about 4 hours last night playing Bully. Nominate a game or two (or however many) for me to play from this or last generation, console or handheld. There's an obscenely stupid likelihood that I already have it in my collection, so just go ( Read more... )

Nice suggestions, but I've already played (at least a little) each of them. (And yes, own them.) Funny that your relatively obscure choices didn't hit any on my shelf I haven't touched yet.

I wound up playing Prince of Persia last night. Boy, there's a whole lot of optional standing around and talking. And because I'm the kind who wants every last morsel, it could have been delivered in a much more interesting way.

The Suffering is an overlooked gem.

i'd have to break out my collection to list more... haha... PoP is great! i havent played it in a while though, didnt notice the standing and talking on the first runthrough. the third PoP is great too... the second one... is a bit of a bear.

The Suffering! I've had the sequel for a while but only picked up the first one a couple months back from Blockbuster's BOGO sale...I don't remember if I ever found an instruction manual for it, though.

And for PoP, I meant the new one that came out last year. At any point you can press either left shoulder button to talk to your partner. Many times it's just a little incidental quip. However after entering new areas or accomplishing major objectives, you're prompted by an icon on screen that "it'd be a good idea to talk to her." However, if you're the kind to want to hear the whole story, you'll often be pressing the talk button like 15+ times before the conversation thread ends. Some of the conversations require you to be standing still, but regardless, I want to focus on the story, so I personally wouldn't be platforming around simultaneously anyway.

Professor Layton + Henry Hatsworth?

I wish I had some money so I could have all the new EA DS games sent to me.
