garden state never hit it with me...i was starting to feel some of it like the "generational dullness or stuff of life depression" thingie until it showed that his dad drugged him up...and that's where the movie spiraled into the deep pit (as featured in the film) culminating in what'sherface little individualistic idiotic moments.
though if the soundtrack werent half bad i dont know if the movie would survive, cause that's what pretty much most our age people discuss relating to the film while generation anaylists feed on the more picturesque moments.
hmmm...next time i'll turn this into a seperate post or something.
