I guess all that's really left is to try out Netscape. (When/if ever they put out the latest version for Mac.) Ugh, what I wouldn't give to have a Maxthon-style browser (aliases and super-drag) for Mac ( Read more... )

Get more memory? That's the BS logic that people use in making programs with Java and other VM languages.

What's not cutting it for you about the browsers?

Maybe it's just my browsing habits. I tend to have around 30 tabs open. My big problem with Safari and Firefox are that they really slow down and often wind up outright crashing ( ... )

Safari always has the most memory consumption for me, usually. But I like it best for most things, due to the rendering and features (ex. RSS). I use Camino (or Firefox, occassionally) for Gmail, for the rich text formatting (for some reason google hasn't implemented it for Safari yet). I have Opera, too, but I rarely use it.

I usually stay around 10-12 tabs, and I'd like to see solution to the simple hiding of the excess tabs (I'd rather see some form of horizontal scrolling than multiple lines though).

I'm thought you can change the shortcut keys. I know Safari can be changed as far as the tab opening in the foreground or background. One click and one button > one click and two buttons, but I don't know of anyway to implement the SuperDrag... I can't seem to find any current release of it for Firefox (only mentions of old versions).
