You know I think you're right. I'm REALLY not crazy about Koontz, but I heart King. Koontz's stuff seems just like you said- a knockoff of kings!

Have you read King's gunslinger series? its beyond good.

Oh yeah. I have read them all. I liked them, except for the part where King inserted himself into the series. I really don't like it when writers do that.
