Anyone still here?

It's been a very long time since I last posted on here, and I suspect it'll be even longer till the next time. LJ has a very small group of people using it, it's a pain in the neck even to put up one photo and write about it, and it doesn't work well with my smartphone which, given my only available time is while commuting, is a deal-breaker.

Me too. I rarely post on LJ, but when I do I post from DW and I check both every now and then. FB annoys the hell out of me (even with Better FaceBook Social Fixer) but it seems to be the one place that everyone posts to. I have a Twitter account. I can't remember the password. I don't miss it. Every now and then I get an email to tell me that someone else is following me. I'm not sure they're real people...

Google+ is another thing where I have an account but don't use it. I don't really see the point of it...

I'm here. I'm also on Facebook, DW, and twitter. Mostly on Twitter nowadays, because I can read it on my phone and I like the immediacy. I still read LJ though !

Main difference between LJ and the others is that LJ allows, and even encourages, you to write at length. I know you can write notes on FB, but who does? And I think it's a pity that someone with an excellent turn of phrase like you should let it go.

I'm more a Twitterer though now, as I have little time for LJ entries but 140 character chunks are easier to fit in to my day. I'm hoping to get back on the LJ horse though...
