*chuckle* Well, I was expecting a Biblical dramatization, but I am very pleased to instead receive confirmation of my suspicions about the Good News Bible. (Unfortunately, now I'm imagining A. and C. having a spat about who exactly inspired Jerome and whether or not he could have found Hebraica veritas if it walked up to him and goosed him.)

Oh, the GNB is definitely one of Crowley's :-) I suspect both A&C have dim views of the various translations, from the LXX on!
