Writer's Block: What if calories didn't count?

Absolutely.   I would have warm Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie pie and have with it a sip of Aged Port out of one of my grandmother's crystal apertif glasses.  I would eat quacamole with tortilla chips and have a marguarita.
Can you tell I am on a high protein, low carb diet?

dieting, writer's block, food

That is a _great_ anti-writers' block. I would eat biscuits and gravy for breakfast, and then goat cheese and baguette for lunch, and then a fondue dinner: cheddar fondue with breads for appetizer, chocolate fondue for the middle course, and then swiss fondue for dessert. With lots of red wine, and things like sweet pickles thrown in for good measure.

This would also be a good dinner party conversation. I remember that a famous French chef said that his last meal would be squab (pigeon!) and fresh green peas.

That is a tough one. redbaydreamer September 20 2009, 23:33:37 UTC
Which calories to I crave the most? I think it would also have to be that what I chose wouldn't make me sick, because I would love to have Fetticini Alfredo but I know it is too rich and I would get VERY sick if I ate it. Mom used to make this great dessert with pound cake and a very rich icing layered like in eight layers or something. A piece of that with some Jazz Berry Wine (a fruity wine from MO that is meant to be eaten with dark chocolate). Fresh guac would be good too with a very good Margarita and fresh tortilla chips. But then hot cookies just out of the oven with hot chocolate would be great too. I probably couldn't do it for 24 hours because again I would be VERY sick. My stomach just doesn't like a lot of rich food all at once, now if it could be one meal a day over a few days, that might work better for me.
