Super Saiyan... Mobians have those, too. The Chaos Emeralds can grant people 'Super Forms', and then there are even rare Super Emeralds that enable 'Hyper Forms'.

Enerjak is an entirely different level altogether.

Knuckles is special. He can tap directly into the Chaos Force, so he doesn't seem to need the emeralds.
