That's horrible!

Our lender (I can't remember who we have), but they not only gave us our original monthly payment back and reduced the interest rate and gave us 2 months of hardship during which we did not have to pay. We negotiated that on our own.

I honestly don't think companies or individuals want to help and I think at this point they are just out to screw people over. My parents mortgage company sent foreclosure papers to my parents... AFTER their last payment on the mortgage was due and paid.
