As far as the keep right thing goes since they stopped teaching driver ed in schools here it doesn't surprise me that side walk etiquette is ignored. And the lack of driver ed training is really showing when I have to drive in town.

AMEN to each of these. The doggie not on a leash thing scares the hell out of me all the time. I'm always scared to death one will dart into the street after a bunny (well, you know what I mean). thankfully dogs in the market hasn't started here at all tho.

Look, the Chinese Fluorescent Light Bulb Lobby went all over Sacramento and bribed as many elected officials who had their hands out, and then some.

So, in reality, your inconveniences of a few thousand burned out fluorescents by the end of the decade, really doesn't amount to a hill of beans.
