My clock is completely and utterly flipped. It took almost two weeks of vampire shift to acclimate. There is no longer a struggle to remain alert on the job. I truly enjoyed the XXI Winter Olympics. I will confess to having my fill of ice skating on the fourth day but I kept watching just the same. I have issues with 'judged' competition. NEW RULE: Once a knee or your spandex-clad-glitter-covered ass hits the ice, STOP THE MUSIC, and slink off the rink. You're done. I may not have a fine eye for skating ( Read more... )

I have a hard time watching sports that are judged. Referees are bad enough, but at least we have a scoreboard, stop watch or finish line as the ultimate decider. The subjective nature of judges makes me crazy.

James and I are watching the figure skating. It's not my favorite event, I prefer alpine skiing, some nordic and the speed skating events. ( Read more... )
