Do you have interest in a form of media that is a complete departure from what you normally listen to or view?  My dad never liked my music from the 70's or 80's and I can't say there's very much out there today that I like unless it's being produced by the 'hangers on' from my hey day or contemporary blues artists. There are few exceptions to that

I read that Wiki article before I posted this. I had asked a few younger coworkers about Gorillaz and there seemed to be differing opinions about who they were and where they were from. That caused me to look them up online and learn about the 'virtual band' creation. I think the whole idea is pretty cool.

Prior to that revelation I only knew their music on my I-Pod, the Harlem concert and the videos.
