Today was the last day of an ultimately relaxing weekend doing very little except what needed to be done. We mixed post Christmas shopping and errands with leisure. We started by sleeping in Friday morn. It's great you discovered something new after all these years that you'll go back to.

I don't like thinking how far all that seafood traveled though...it's the same with most stores though I guess.

As a veg,I don't like the meat and fish sections in any stores, even though the Asian stores are more exotic. The smell is disturbing to me. ;-/

How cool...reminds me of the Asian market I could stop at regularly if I varied my route home from work...

get an octopus, boil it for 40-60 minutes, pull off the skin, chop it up into bite sized chunks, mix it with pieces of boiled potatoes and sprinkle with olive oil and parsley. Its called Polpo e patate insalata - and it will change your mind about octopus for sure!

Let me tell you, friends...this guy was like a kid in a candy store. For someone who hates to go shopping (him), I couldn't get him to leave! If I know him, and I think I do, another trip is already in the works sometime in the near future...
