I have not slept a day this week. Every morning is the same routine. I return from the vampire shift exhausted, sleep comes easy, but I wake near noon and cannot complete mattress duty. The stress of night shift, my housing woes, my son's illness and whatever else gets my goat on any given day have been tough. I do the best I can under the circumstances.

Putting some of these issues behind me does give me a new perspective. I'm putting positive vibes on these changes.

Life sounds fantastic and you'll soon get your sleep caught up. Day shift, new home, the stress of the mortgage gone and a hot tub. Congratulations! It is an exciting new cycle to embrace.

I wish I could get a carfax report on that hot tub. I want to know what's been going on there before I step in. They just did an overhaul, drained, cleaned and serviced the system. I suppose it'll be safe.

Cheryl is a proponent of melatonin. She keeps pushing that stuff but I tend to avoid pills. Besides, I can catch up on my sleep when I die, the eternal dirt nap.
