Finding The Right Words

I stood in the greeting card aisle at Target earlier this week staring at Valentines Day cards. I opened at least two dozen before leaving empty handed. Yesterday I went through the same fruitless exercise at Frys Market. Sometimes I'll find a card holding the words needed for the occasion. There's probably a market for those cards of yours, but they wouldn't be sold at the Hallmark stores.

Great post.

Seems the better you know someone, the harder it is to find the right pre-stamped greeting. So like you, I often scribble my own on the assumption that the extra effort speaks for itself.

Yes, I'm a lucky gal...

Here's my Valentine's Day sentiment:

Thanks for putting up with my migraines, backaches and whatever else ails me...and for the great backrubs.

I've long used the analogy that relationships are like a teeter-totter: rarely perfectly balanced...sometimes one person is up while the other is down and vice versa, but most of the time it's balancing act and is somewhere in between. Just hang on and enjoy the ride!
