...of another day off. Thursday. A nearly useless day to have a day off, truly. I continue to be badly underpaid at my job as the wine shop manager at my local Cost Plus World market, to the point of planning to spend tomorrow (today!) reading and doing dishes...maybe taking a nap. These are all lovely things to do by choice, but less wonderful

Thane's company is looking for a payroll and benefits person. Do you have any HR experience? His company is in Mclean VA tho, I dunno how well that'd work with where you live now.

Um...I sort of have HR exp. I used to own/manage a small business (newspaper) and did the payroll/benefits stuff myself for the company. Not much past that, though.

I'm alright. Thane & I got engaged. We're moving at the end of this month (hopefully, I'm kinda worried, we're renting a condo from the owner and she seems kinda flakey). I'm getting my driver's license finally (have to, or I can't get to work from the new place). We're looking forward to MDRF. I've got a cold :(

Sorry, 'bout the cold...we're just getting over one I picked up at Sterling faire last weekend. Really looking forward to MDRF...counting the days, truly.
