Good heavens, sir. At first I thought you may have slid off the road and ended up in a deep snow bank.

Closer inspection, however, reveals none of the snow crumple and piling that happens when you careen into snow. Am I to understand this is a consequence of snowfall and wind and nothing else?

yes, just wind and snow. took me an hour to dig out, but I did it and got exercise!
