It was time.

Simon hadn't been in the room since morning. He'd got up early and headed out to run in the warehouse district, and the few little scrapes on his hands were a tell-tale sign he'd been jumping off things as well. He was getting better, though, and that was a comforting thing to realize.

He couldn't run forever, though, so he came back, intending to grab a change of clothes and head for the showers.

But he hadn't been expecting this sight so he sort of froze at the door, frowning. "... Ramona?"

And see, she knew that of all people, Simon was going to be the toughest one to run out on. So she just looked up from her packing and sighed a little. "Hey, Simon. Good news! You're getting a single."

At least she tried to put a positive spin on it?

Ramona smiled a little sadly, gesturing to her bag and the boxes. "Looks like. It's time I did, anyway. I don't usually like to stick around places this long." Particularly not when she was feeling rejected or wronged, and she had been for awhile, now.

Bruce went ahead and knocked on Ramona's door, largely just to see if she had skipped town yet. Having a history of town-skipping himself, he was curious how other people approached it. "Ramona?"

"I've done that a few times myself. I know what to look out for, so it was going to be tough getting past me," Bruce said. Actually, he just got lucky with timing. But he wasn't going to admit that.
