Scarlett O'Hara was not beautiful, but men seldom realized it...

Sep 21, 2008 07:48

I've been spouting off in various ljs/emails over the past few days about how despite everything the last scene of "Dying Changes Everything" felt to me, bizarrely, like the most romantic H/W scene they've ever done. It just... was. So there I was, vaguely contemplating this point, when I FINALLY REALISED WHY.

Cue sweeping violins... )

So when Watson tampered with House's cane and House fell, that was the falling-down-the-stairs scene?

Who's Ashley??? Does that make Cameron Melanie Wilkes?

You should never have mentioned GWTW... I could do this forever!!!

Jeanyus!!!

But on the other hand... "I'm not sure we ever were" is a crock because Wilson ditched his wife's christmas/holiday soiree to eat chinese food and have a slashy montage with House. You only have slashy montages with friends.

LOL, I'm sure I didn't put that much thought into it. Hmmm, I would say Ashley would be House's little Vicodin bottle. And Cameron seems as good as anyone! karaokegal said Cuddy was obviously Belle Watling, which I found highly appropriate XD

Yeah, Wilson is kind of a liar. Or, or, maybe he knew he was sekritly in love ever then. Ha.

LOL! Now I want to see Wilson in bed the morning after having been ravished by House....

LOL, shouldn't that technically be House in bed in the morning? And we do know it puts him in a whistling kind of mood ;)

Does that mean Cuddy is Belle Watling?

I do agree that the last scene was way more intense, romantic etc than any of the so-called shout outs that had the fangirls squeeeeing last season.

I do believe it does. That's just so very apt!

Yes, I always find the blatant shout-outs a bit too artificial to enjoy. Although the "I love you" worked, because of the way it was played.
