This was completely satisfying at some deep level. I want a Hologram Sherlock now.

Oh good grief. I can’t stop flailing!! This is absolutely marvellous. Martha/Mrs Hudson as Kryten! Greg the silver fox!! And Molly as Holly is pure bloody genius.

“He occupies a minor position in the Space Corps.”
Oh dear lord, kill me now. My sides can’t take the strain any more.

“People were only supposed to think I was dead.”
And now I am dead. Dead from the brilliance.

Utterly fantastic. I am applauding like crazy, and can't mem it fast enough. Well done!!

*uses Ace icon in your honour*

I wanted to write something of the kind for a long time, but James "Westwood" Moriarty kept wanting to be Cat and that just wouldn't work for me. I needed the Reichenbach thing to pull it together. It's the little black dress of Sherlock fic. A little Mycroft never hurts, either, lol.

Thank you so much! Really appreciate the comment and mem :)

As a big RD fan and casual "Sherlock" fan, I really enjoyed this. Now I'm wondering what Low versions of Sherlock and John would be like. :D

Would you mind if I linked to this in my journal? I think some of my friends would like it.

Hi! I've seen you around, I think, although I haven't been very active in the RD fandom for a while. LOL, that actually briefly crossed my mind about Low!Sherlock and John, and the only conclusion I could come up with was - every BDSM slasher's dream. Throw in a bit of hard light (haha) and all would be delightful. I still say Rimmer's really a sub, though *g*

Thank you so much for the comment! Very happy you enjoyed, and I would much adore it if you linked it :D

I am one of those friends, and I'm still in shock from this utter brilliance. Brilliant, I tell you!

Edit: Oh dear Lord, did I just see a Spock/McCoy reference in there? I'm in heaven!!! And I actually had a hard time choosing which Sherlock's side I was on. I was on the hologram's, but poor alive-Sherlock. It was a lovely one shot, though I'd love to see more of holo-Sherlock/John starting a relationship and alive-Sherlock on the outside. *sighs dreamily*

Hee! I don't know if you slash Lister/Rimmer at all, but that hard light drive had such potential - now, if the same thing happened to Sherlock he'd be all over it, or is that John? I did deliberately make the living Sherlock a touch more unpleasant than strictly necessary, just for the fic.

And much love for noting the Spock/McCoy because, yes. It's been a long time, but somewhere I still ship them *g*

Thanks so much for the comments! I have been vastly entertained XD

We have a mutual friend in Veronica_Rich. :)

I don't even write "Sherlock" or BDSM fic, and I'm still finding that idea scarily appealing. ;)

I just can't stop laughing! This was a perfect fusion of two utterly dissimilar shows. Again, sheer brilliance.

Hey, thanks for reading! I briefly thought of asking you to do a beta at one point, but I wasn't even sure you watched Sherlock. It's lovely that you do, lol. I think watching New Dwarf kind of made me a little nostalgic for Old Dwarf ;)

That's exactly how I felt, that the new Dwarf was good, but it made me miss the old ones even more. :P
